Fascial Stretch Therapy, Level I & II
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), now called Frederick Stretch Therapy, is a neuromyofascial manual therapy that focuses on the connective tissue system rather than isolated muscle treatment. This technique is incredibly calming, does not push the body to the point of pain, and helps reset the nervous system and its muscular control. This series of fascial stretches helps the central and peripheral nervous system reset and can allow proper neural mechanics to be restored while offering clients a revolutionary path to pain management, rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, athletic performance, movement re-education, and wellness.
Most of the assisted stretching and mobility work of FST is done on a thickly padded table with the client fully clothed, supported by portable stabilization straps. It’s a unique system that can be done easily and efficiently, in the privacy of an individual therapy room, or the open, public space of a group fitness or event environment.
